Junk food is a term for food that contains a high number of calories from sugar or fat with little fibre, protein, vitamins or minerals. Many of these are high in saturated fats, sugars, carbohydrates, emulsifiers, artificial flavours, salt and/or alcohol.Let’s say you give in to those cravings and you want to eat junkfood,but i'll tell you 4 facts effecst of eating junk food.

1. Digestive Disorders

One of the effects of junk food on the stomach is the cause of digestive system problems such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

2. Increases the Risk of Heart Disease

Junk food increases cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which are major risk factors for developing heart disease. Fat t in junk food which builds up in the body and makes you fat. The more weight you gain, the higher your risk of heart disease.

3.kidney disease

Foods like chips and french fries contain a lot of finely processed salt, which increases the secretion of enzymes and saliva that increase your cravings. Sodium and bad fats from salt increase blood pressure, thereby affecting kidney function.

4.Increases Cancer Risk

One study noted that eating too much junk food that is high in sugar and fat can increase the risk of colon cancer. Another study has shown that men who eat fried foods more than twice a month have an increased risk of prostate cancer.
